A few weeks ago, I had an interesting and inspiring talk with a guy who has been in a maximum security prison, locked up 23 hours a day for a violent crime. He has been at this particular prison for over 20 years. He told me about his faith in God, and then he showed me something he had written years ago. It was his statement of faith, based on filing a court document. I asked him if I could share this with you, and so he copied it (by hand) and gave me a copy the next time I saw him. I think it is great, and worth sharing. So, please share this with as many people as possible. Also, if you don’t mind, write this guy a word of encouragement in the comments. I told him I would share with him the comments that people make after reading this.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF GOD
District at Heaven
JUDGEMENT DIVISION
The Accused: A real life anonymous prisoner
vs.
The Accuser: Lucifer (aka, Devil, Satan, etc…)
Case #43689
MOTION FOR IMMUNITY
Comes now, the Accused Anonymous Prisoner, by and through counsel of record, “for there is one God, and one mediator between God, and man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5, KJV), and pursuant to Matthew 10:32 (KJV), “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” And moves this HONORABLE Court to grant the Accused this “Motion for Immunity” and an entrance into Heaven.
The Accused submits the following for grounds and relief:
(A) The Accused has listened to and heard the true word of this Court, “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17 (KJV); “Who hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 13:9, KJV).
(B) The Accused has and does believe in those words in which he has heard and listed to, as set forth by this Court, “for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV); “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, KJV).
(C) The Accused has accepted the words in which he has heard by opening the door to his heart, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20, KJV).
(D) The Accused has confessed his sins before men and God. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9, 10, KJV).
(E) The Accused has repented his sins, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38, KJV).
(F) And the Accused has in fact been baptized. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19, KJV). “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire” (Matthew 3:11, KJV).
CONCLUSION
Wherefore, the Accused moves this Honorable Court to grant him this “Motion for Immunity” from sin and allow him to enter into heaven, because it is said that, “Whoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32, KJV). This motion alone gives testimony that the Accused has confessed Christ before men, and it is also said that, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved” (Romans 10:13, KJV). This motion agains gives testimony that the Accused has in fact called upon the name of the Lord.
So for the above stated grounds and reason there of; the Accused, moves this Honorable Court to grant him this “Motion for Immunity,” and allow him to enter into heaven.
Respectfully Submitted,
The Accused: A real life anonymous prisoner
(to be submitted by counsel on the day of judgment)
